A New Year for Celebrations!

 

 

Just Because....

 

 

Now that it is almost March, we are rolling through the New Year with lots of discoveries.  We are trying to find some different things to do and to get Wesley outside---tough when the weather is so unpredictable.  (it is currently snowing right now!)  Wesley is growing like a weed; we feel he has gotten taller in recent months but at the same time his pants still need rolling up.  Chris calls him "husky" but I am sure he is not.  He has learned a few more words.  "Gecko" is a favorite, thanks to MiMi and Pops as they have many of them in their house.  He has added "shoes", "bird" and I think I mentioned earlier one of his favorites, "cookie".  He is really starting to understand things when you talk with him but is also getting as frustrated as ever.  The revival falls have turned into a careful crash to the floor accompanied by a tantrum.  I guess he at least has learned that falling on his head isn't smart but we are still working through the crying part. 

 

Below are just some fun photos to get us up to date.  Wesley is crazy as ever these days, walking very quickly (we are on our second pair of shoes) and babbling up a storm.  He is also stilling winning our hearts and the cause of many a smile!
